This method can be used to make all kinds of herbal hair growth oil blends using whatever ingredients your heart desires. Using herbal hair growth oil recipes like this is what allowed me to grow my own hair from chin length to tailbone length, and it is currently helping me recover from severe postpartum hair shedding.

Ingredients
  • 1.14 oz castor oil,
  • 4.6 oz fractionated coconut oil
  • 2.3 oz jojoba
  • 1 -1.5 tbs coffee beans
  • 4 tbs whole fenugreek seeds
  • 2-3 tbs dried amla
  • 30 drops rosemary
  • 30 drops lavender
Directions

Combine all carrier oils.

Roughly chop coffee beans and dried amla (unless using powdered versions). Add them into your carrier oils. Infuse either using jar method or Fuzetrix method. Afterwards, strain out herbs. Add in essential oils and stir well. Store in a cool dark place.

Apply to scalp using either a dropper bottle or a hair applicator bottle. Leave on scalp for 4-12 hours, and washing out using your preferred shampoo or other washing method.

Total recipe yields about 8 oz

Recipe Note
  • You can use whole herbs as I did, or the powdered versions. Powdered versions are a little more convenient to infuse initially, but will leave a sludge on the bottom after infusion. You can either strain this out with cheesecloth or allow it to settle to the bottom of your jar.
  • If using whole coffee beans, I recommend roughly chopping them first.
