Sage Infused Oil
Sage Infused Oil

Create an earthy, aromatic sage-infused olive oil with fuzetrix MOJO1 in 25 minutes. Use it for pasta, roasted vegetables, marinades, savory sauces, or bread dipping.

Ingredients
- 10 g completely dried sage leaves
- 200 ml extra-virgin olive oil
Directions
- Select Infuse Mode.
- Place the Infuse Cup on the intergrated scale, tare it, and weigh the dried sage.
- Add 200 ml of olive oil.
- Place the Infuse Cup inside MOJO1, then install the stir bar and temperature probe.
- Set to 100°C for 25 minutes and start the cycle.
- Let the oil cool slightly, strain it into a clean, dry bottle, and seal tightly.
Recipe Note
- Use completely dried sage leaves to avoid introducing moisture into the oil.
- Gently crush the leaves before infusing to help release their aroma.
- Choose a mild olive oil for a balanced flavor or extra-virgin olive oil for a richer taste.
- Drizzle over pasta, roasted squash, potatoes, pizza, or soups.
- Use it as a marinade or serve it with fresh bread for dipping.
- Sage has a naturally strong flavor, so start with a small amount when adding it to finished dishes.
- Store in a cool, dark place and discard the oil if its aroma, flavor, or appearance changes.
